A high-speed incident on the M11 has prompted renewed calls for caution on wexford roads.
Enniscorthy Gardaí conducting a speed checkpoint yesterday clocked a vehicle travelling at 176 kilometres per hour. The male driver was arrested on the spot and has since been charged. Gardaí say such excessive speed would be catastrophic in the event of a collision.
