Enniscorthy on high alert as slaney rises
Enniscorthy Town council along with the County Council have met with Gardaí as the possibility of flooding in the town is seen as a "significant threat". The dangerously high level of the River Slaney is causing concern with the situation being closely monitored. The council has placed sandbags in strategic locations for people to pick up. High tide is expected at midnight and a traffic managment plan has been put in place in case of flooding.
