An Enniscorthy personal trainer is taking on an incredible endurance challenge to raise funds for the Irish Heart Foundation.
Kacper Czerpak is preparing to run approximately 600 kilometres from Mizen Head to Malin Head in just seven days, beginning on September 28th.
The experienced ultra-runner, who first took up running at 17, has long wanted to run across Ireland as a personal test of what he can achieve.
Despite facing a number of setbacks this year, Kacper has stayed committed to the challenge.
He has already completed a number of long-distance running events, including races over 20, 50 and 100 kilometres, but this will be one of his biggest challenges yet.
Alongside the personal achievement, Kacper is hoping to raise as much as possible for the Irish Heart Foundation and is encouraging people to follow his progress and support the fundraiser.
