Environment minister says no decision made on pricing for water
The Environment Minister says the Government has made no decision yet on a pricing structure for water charges. It follows reports in today's Irish Independent that the agency has submitted plans for a 33 per cent charge on the average bill to the energy regulator. That could cost householders up to 100 euro before they've even used any water. But Minister Phil Hogan says that people will just have to have patience and wait for the Government to make an announcement.
