There has been a fatal road traffic accident in South Wexford overnight It occured near Drinagh at Ballykelly on the N25 shortly after one o'clock this morning Sunday The collision involved a passenger van and a jeep and the the driver of the van, a man in his 60s, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in one of the vehicles was brought to Wexford General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injury. A man aged in his 40s was arrested at the scene on suspicion of offences under the Road Traffic Act and is currently detained at a Garda station in Wexford Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
