It's hoped new laws around IVF will make fertility treatments more affordable.
The Health Minister today confirmed a new bill on assisted human reproduction has been approved by cabinet. Minister Stephen Donnelly says the new legislation will recognise and encompass the wide-range of assisted reproductive treatments available. A regulator will also be established to govern and monitor the sector.
