First meeting of group following penalty point controversey
A working group set up on foot of a major report on the penalty points system will hold its first meeting today. The Garda Inspectorate review yesterday found "consistent and widespread breaches of policy" in the deletion of penalty points. The Cabinet has approved 37 recommendations to be implemented in full and immediately on the back of the document.
