Funding for coastal repair works at duncannon and kilmore quay announced
Over 300,000 euro in funding has been announced for coastal repair works in County Wexford. The announcement is part of the 2014 Fishery Harbour and Coastal Infrastructure Capital Programme. Last year the Minister for the Marine Simon Coveney requested that all coastal local authorities apply for funding for infrastructural work. Wexford County Council has today been awarded 307,500 euro for works at Kilmore Quay and Duncannon. It's a significant increase from the 116,000 euro granted under the 2013 Capital Programme.
