Funding for courtown confirmed following coastal erosion
1.24 million euro in funding has been awarded for Courtown to address coastal erosion. While 55-thousand euro has been allocated to address issues in Cahore. Gorey Labour Councillor Robbie Ireton says the grant has come from the Government following significant storm damage across the country recently. Meanwhile Marion Brennan - who has been campaigning for work to be carried out to address problems at the harbour and beach in Courtown - is calling for recommendations from a marine survey into the damage to be acted on.
