Gardai are warning of a telephone scam in which people are told they're due to pay a tax bill. The caller claims to be from Revenue, however, Gardai say they nor revenue make unsolicited phone calls. Gardai say people are receiving calls from individuals claiming to be from Revenue and informing them that they have an overdue tax bill due to be paid immediately. The scam involves the caller instructing you to phone another number and give your credit card details. Gardai say that this caller is not calling from Revenue.
