Garda speed operation underway in wexford until 6am on friday
Gardai in Wexford are out in force today as part of a day long Europe-wide crackdown on speeding. The operation will run for 24 hours across 22 countries until 6am tomorrow and is all about encouraging drivers to slow down. Inspector Derek Hughes is from Wexford Garda Station. He says speed can have a major impact on the number and severity of road accidents.
