Gardai investigating the stabbing of a 3 year old boy and his mother

The Garda Technical Bureau have arrived at the scene of last nights fatal stabbing in Dublin.

A three year old boy was stabbed to death at an apartment in Kimmage yesterday evening. A woman in her 40s, believed to be the boy's mother, is in a serious condition in hospital with knife wounds. Locals say they were shocked when they heard the news.
