A new bill to expose companies paying female workers less than their male colleagues is making its way through the Oireachtas.
The Gender Pay Gap Information Bill is expected to be passed by the Seanad before the summer recess. Initially it will require firms with more than 250 employees to reveal how much staff are paid but it's hoped it will eventually extend to smaller companies too.
