German Chancellor Seeks Fourth Term In Office

Angela Merkel is hoping to become German Chancellor for a fourth term. She's announced her intention to run in next year's general election - telling her party in Berlin she expected it to be her toughest campaign to date. Mrs Merkel's poll ratings have slipped since the height of her popularity but she retains wide support.
