Gorey gardaí appeal for witnesses following shooting
A man in his early 40s sustained serious leg injuries after a number of shots were fired outside a house in the Clonganny area near Ballygarrett. The incident happened at around 2.30 yesterday afternoon and it's believed at least two men were involved in carrying out the attack. A number of shots were fired by a passing car which was later found burned out a short distance away. The victim was taken to Wexford General Hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Gorey Gardaí or the Garda confidential line.
