Hospital waiting list hits all time high

Over 907,000 people are on a hospital waiting list.

Nearly 628,000 were waiting for their first outpatient appointment at the end of July. According to the National Treatment Purchase Fund, that's an increase of almost 3,700 on the previous month. The inpatient and day-case list is down slightly, at over 80,000.
