Housing minister shoots down sinn fein's 'nct for houses' idea

An NCT-style system for rental accommodation won't improve standards, according to the Housing Minister.

He's rejected the idea by Sinn Féin to tackle severe overcrowding in properties. He says he wants to change the law to prosecute rougue landlords who rent out substandard homes. But Sinn Féin's Imelda Munster says he's not doing enough.
