Hse to provide alternative treatment after computer error

The HSE is promising alternative treatment for anyone who needs it after a computer error affecting scans.

Thousands of patients have been given the wrong results because of a software glitch which meant that some x-rays and ultrasounds seemed worse than they were. The Irish Times claims some patients may have been inappropriately treated as a result.
