Increase in the granting of planning permission in co. wexford
There's been an increase in the number of planning permissions granted in County Wexford over the past year. In total there were 147 applications granted during April, May and June of this year - a12.2 per cent increase when the figures are compared with the same period last year. Permission was granted for 30 one off-houses in the county - down from 42 last year. In contrast there's been an increase in planning permissions granted for multi-development houses. There were 3 granted during quarter 2 of this year for 46 units while there was only 1 for the same period last year for 2 units. Meanwhile permission was granted for 5 private flats and apartments this year - up from 3 last year.
