Insurance companies want to reform amount of payouts

Insurers say injury payouts need to be urgently reformed to bring down the price of policies.

Several major firms have recorded a rise in profits, but FBD are warning premiums will remain high until courts bring down their claims costs. Overall car insurance is now 70% more expensive than it was three years ago. However AA Roadwatch's Conor Faughnan says things should start to improve.
