Insurance company sanctions work at apex leisure centre in new ross
The Apex swimming complex in New Ross is to undergo repair of the roof which was badly damaged in last weeks storms. The matter was rased at last nights meeting of Newross Town Council. Council Chairman Niamh Fitzgibbon was on South East Radio's Morning Mix. She acknowledged that certain questions remain unanswered regarding the circumstances as to how the damage occured. However she says the insurance company has sanctioned all repair work to begin immediately. And she says they don't need the answers right now, all they need to know is work can proceed.
