Investigation underway after house attacked by a petrol bomb in caim

Gardai in Enniscorthy are investigating what they believe to have been an attempt to burn down an occupied house in the Ballyhyland area of Caim last night.

A petrol bomb was thrown at the house shortly after 9pm and an attempt was also made to burn the car which was parked outside the property. Enniscorthy fire brigade attended the scene and managed to contain the fire before any serious damage was caused.
