Investigations underway following co. wexford farm death
Two investigations are underway following the death of a 42 year-old New Ross farmer over the weekend. John Pollard from Templeudigan, Ballywilliam was found dead in his farmyard in what is believed to have been a freak accident. The married father of two was a well known progressive farmer in the area. Wexford County Councillor John Fleming is a neighbour and says in years gone by there would have been a number of people working together on a farm. However he says as machinery is being used more farmers tend to work alone and if they get into difficulty they have no-one to help.
