Ireland to be hit by a cold snap tonight

A cold snap looks set to hit Ireland from tonight.

Met Eireann says temperatures will fall between minus 1 and minus 2 degrees later this evening. The forecaster says all areas of the country will be affected by the dip in temperatures, which could continue into Thursday and Friday.
