Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
The Irish Red Cross will host an in-person business clinic to support small businesses, community, voluntary, and sporting organisations that were uninsured and impacted by recent severe flooding. The clinic is designed to assist with applications for the Emergency Humanitarian Flooding Scheme, which offers up to €100,000 in financial aid to help businesses return to pre-flood conditions.
In partnership with Wexford Local Authority and County Wexford Chamber of Commerce, the clinic will help business owners complete forms and verify their premises’ status for the scheme.
This follows the Department of Enterprise’s announcement of an extension to the scheme, which aims to provide urgent support to flood-affected businesses. For businesses seeking more than the initial €5,000 payment, an in-person assessor will be available.
A child-friendly space will be provided for parents, and Irish Red Cross volunteers will offer additional support throughout the day. Online workshops will also be available for those unable to attend the clinic in person.
