Irish woman resigns from vatican commission

Marie Collins says it was impossible to continue working with the Vatican's child protection panel while there were people obstructing their work.

The Irish abuse survivor and campaigner stepped down today citing a shameful lack of co-operation. The group was set up by Pope Francis personally and Mrs Collins' departure is seen as a major blow for the Pontiff.
