A Brazilian Judge is to decide whether Pat Hickey will face trial over his alleged links to ticket touting at the Olympics.
The public prosecutor's office in Rio yesterday laid formal charges against Mr Hickey and THG executive Kevin Mallon. The indictment includes charges of "supplying tickets for the purpose of touting", false advertising, fraud, and tax evasion. Under Brazilian law, a judge will now have to decide whether to take the case to trial, or to release the men. Mr Hickey has attended a Rio police station for more questioning, but his family said he is invoking his constitutional right to silence.
