Just 2 ida site visits to county wexford in 2013
New figures show there were just two IDA site visits to County Wexford last year and three the previous year. Fianna Fáil TD John Browne says the county is being ignored by the State's job creation agency. He says there seems to be much more focus put on other parts of the country when it comes to organised visits by potential investors. The figures for County Wexford are very low when compared to areas like Dublin which had 376 visits last year and Cork which had 69. When job losses are subtracted from the number of new positions created - just 87 new jobs came on stream by IDA supported companies in County Wexford in 2013.
