Plans to extend the new M11 south of Oylegate are to be put forward in the coming week.
The proposal is to commence it on completion of the Enniscorthy bypass in 2019. Wexford Junior Minister Paul Kehoe is to meet Transport Minister Shane Ross to discuss the proposals. Minister Kehoe says that the current plans for the bypass will lead to a bottleneck in Oylegate village. Kehoe also said that the Oylegate bypass would be an "incredibly important piece of infrastructure for Wexford".
