Kilkenny potato firm secures major contract with aldi

A South Kilkenny fruit and vegetable enterprise has secured a major contract for the supply of potatoes.

Iverk Produce has signed a €70 million deal to supply potatoes to the Aldi chain of supermarkets. The three year deal will supply all of Aldi's one hundred and 29 Irish stores with 27 thousand tonnes of locally grown potatoes.
