A former County Wexford Garda Station was one of 7 stations across the country which were sold at auction yesterday. The first sale of its kind in the history of the State saw Baldwinstown Garda station in Co Wexford - which had a guide price of 68-thousand euro - being sold for 75-thousand. The Office of Public Works - who had ownership of the stations - said it's the first group of former stations to come on the market. The government body is to auction another batch of stations in May or June.
