170 workers are to lose their jobs by Christmas after Cameron in Longford announced it is closing its manufacturing operations.
Up to 50 jobs will be retained in research and development but it's a major blow for the County and devastating news for the employees and their families. Local Fine Gael Deputy Peter Burke says he has made contact with both the Minister for Jobs and the Minister for Social Protection following the announcement.
