Major Roadworks To Take Place On Wexford Ring Road Until 16th October

Major roadworks on the Wexford Town ring road will be in place for the next 3 weeks.

A Stop and Go traffic management system will be introduced on the N25 between the Duncannon Road Roundabout and the Drinagh roundabout nightly until the 16th of October.

This to facilitate resurfacing works and will be in place every night between 7pm and 7am.

Meanwhile, drainage works will be carried out on the N25 between the New Ross Road Roundabout and the Duncannon Road Roundabout, also until the 16th of October.

There will be a lane narrowing traffic management in place for these works but Wexford County Council says the traffic flow should generally be unaffected by these works.

The council is also warning that these works are weather dependant and as such the dates and times may be subject to change at short notice. 

Drivers are being urged to use caution while travelling through both sets of works.
