Man due in court in connection with dublin shooting
A man, wanted by Gardaí over the Regency Hotel shooting, is due before a court in Belfast later. The PSNI arrested the man on foot of a European Arrest Warrant in Co Tyrone yesterday. Police in the north say the 46 year old is being sought by Gardaí in connection with murder and firearms offences. Last night, the PSNI confirmed the offences relate to the Regency Hotel shooting. David Byrne was shot dead when a gang of men burst into the Dublin Hotel during a boxing weigh in last February The murder is seen as the starting point of the so-called Kinahan-Hutch gangland feud.
