Man held in connection with waterford death further remanded in custody

A 33 year old man has been further remanded in custody in connection with the death of a Kilkenny man who was fatally stabbed at an apartment in Tramore in Co Waterford, last Thursday night. Tadgh Butler with an address at 30 Seafield, Tramore, has previously been charged with the murder of 25 year old Michael O'Dwyer. Mr Butler was further remanded at today's court appearance, until the 21st of January. He's lodged an application for bail to the High Court which is due to be heard next Monday.
