Man jailed for 13 years for raping woman with down syndrome

A 34 year-old man has been jailed for 13 years for raping a woman with Down syndrome in Dublin. Faisal Ellahi from Harpur in Pakistan lured the women in her 20s back to his flat, where he attacked her in June 2013. Judge Tony Hunt said the accused took advantage of the victim and what happened to her was frightening, appalling and disgusting. He said he hoped the Minister for Justice would remove Ellahi from Ireland once his sentence is complete.
