Martin mcguinness receives death threat from dissident republicans
Martin McGuinness says he won't silenced, after being warned of a threat to kill him with a rocket launcher from dissident Republicans. The Northern Ireland deputy First Minister says police alerted him to the Continuity IRA threat. The Sinn Fein politician became aware of the dissident plot last night but he's condemned those behind it calling them cowards masking as Republicans. Martin McGuinness says the paramilitaries are detached from reality and it won't get them a united Ireland. He's described their actions as futile and says he won't be silenced or deterred by the threat.
