Maximum weight of school bags should be introduced

There's been a call for legislation to reduce the weight of children's school bags.

The chair of the The Oireachtas Children and Youth Affairs Committee says Ireland should follow the lead of Estonia where laws have been recently introduced. The Committee is hearing today from parents and from a medical expert on the impact heavy bags are having on kids' backs.
