Mick wallace comes out against high wexford unemployment rate

Latest figures show the unemployment rate in County Wexford is over eighteen per cent

The issue was raised in the Dail yesterday evening by Mick Wallace TD He highlighted the reality to the jobs minister Mary Mitchell O'Connor that Wexford with its high jobless rate also has the highest rate of rent supplement in the country and one of the lowest rates of third level education. Deputy Wallace also criticised other Wexford politicians for claiming credit for road and sports grants, a new courthouse and a new Garda station but he said they cant hide behind the reality of the unemployment figures.
