Minister for health backs holding abortion referendum next year

Simon Harris says it's very important that we prepare to hold a referendum on the 8th Amendment next year.

The Health Minister says Ireland must deal with abortion 'definitively', after two women who had attempted suicide more than once were refused abortions in Ireland. Mr Harris says his department is preparing to deal with recommendations from an Oireachtas committee on the issue of abortion.
