The Irish Navy has rescued over 140 migrants in the Mediterranean.
The LÉ Samuel Beckett located them earlier this morning on a rubber vessel off the Libyan coast. This brings to almost 3,000 migrants rescued by the vessel since it was deployed to the area on the 23rd September of this year.
