Talks aimed at preventing further industrial action by secondary school teachers will take place today.
Representatives from the ASTI will meet with officials from the Department of Education. About 17,000 teachers are expected to withdraw from supervision and substitution duties from Monday next. It could see the indefinite closure of hundreds of schools across the country - unless a resolution can be found.
