Moving your mortgage may be beneficial

Over 60 percent of eligible mortgage holders could save over 11 thousand euro over the lifetime of the loan, if they switched providers.

The Central Bank says just 2.9 percent of homeowners switched provider in the second half of last year. That's despite downward movements in interest rates and the recent introduction of initiatives designed to improve the switching process.
