Kilkenny murder victim Mairéad Moran will be laid to rest later today. The 26 year old was stabbed to death at her workplace in the Market Cross shopping centre last Thursday evening. 27 year old Shane Smyth of McGuinness House, Evans Lane, Kilkenny City appeared in court on Saturday charged with her murder. Her funeral mass will take place at St Eoghan's Church in Kilmoganny at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
