A nationwide speed enforcement operation is underway today as part of National #SlowDown Day.
An Garda Síochána, in partnership with the RSA, will carry out the 24-hour initiative to promote safer driving and reduce speed-related collisions. Running upto midnight tonight the operation coincides with the first full week of schools reopening across the country.
