Naughten says government departments safe from cyber attack

Every agency of the state was a target of the WannaCry cyber attack, according to the Communications Minister.

But Denis Naughten says that the ransom ware software did not get access to government departments. An isolated incident involving a system linked to the HSE was hit, but has been controlled. Communications Minister Denis Naughten says their cyber security systems did their job.
