Nearly 20 thousand litres of alcohol has been seized at Rosslare Europort

It was discovered on Saturday morning after Revenue officers stopped and searched a trailer that had arrived on a ferry from Dunkirk in France. The beer and prosecco was valued at around 80 thousand euro. The driver accompanying the trailer was questioned in relation to the seizure. Investigations are ongoing.
