The Managing Director of one of the biggest employers in County Wexford has admitted that the company would have been forced to move elsewhere if the new gas line wasn't put in place. Philip Scallan of Celtic Linen, which employs over 400 people, says natural gas coming to Wexford town allows them to remain competitive amoung rival companies. But he says the project, which is expected to be completed next May, has been dogged by problems. Philip Scallan says the infrastructure is badly needed.
