New state body will take children out of homelessness - taoiseach

The Taoiseach has been repeating his promise to lift children out of homelessness as a new state body is suggested to tackle housing.

Modeled on Irish Water it would take responsibility for social housing away from local authorities and raise its own money for building. At the moment around 3,000 children are homeless.
