The construction on a new Garda station for Wexford town will be completed by this summer according to the OPW.
Building on the new Garda Headquarters for the county began in 2015. It will feature a complex of buildings with a combined area of 4,000 square metres on a 2.8 hectare site. The new facility will also include a large HGV garage which will support Gardai at Rosslare Harbour as well as an evidence storage unit which is said to be state of the art.
